Fertility Appreciation Collaborative to Teach The Science

Webinars Live

Strengthen Your Understanding of Fertility Awareness!

FACTS is pleased to offer the following presentations as live webinars at cost of $25. These webinars fulfill our mission to educate medical and other health professionals, as well as the general population, about fertility awareness-based methods and their application to family planning and women’s health.

Each webinar is also available as a live speaker presentation through our Invite a Speaker series. In addition, you may also enroll in on-demand versions of these presentations.

Webinars for Medical Professionals

The goal of these presentations is to educate health professionals about FABMs and their applications for addressing family planning and women’s health.

Fertility Awareness-Based Methods for Family Planning with a Focus on Preventing Pregnancy

This webinar focuses on the science underlying fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs), describing each of the evidence-based methods and their effectiveness rates for avoiding pregnancy. Applications for achieving pregnancy are also briefly discussed.

Fertility Awareness-Based Methods for Family Planning with a Focus on Achieving Pregnancy

This presentation is a slightly modified version of our original presentation, FABMs for Family Planning with a Focus on Preventing Pregnancy. While the objectives and content are essentially the same, here we focus primarily on the use of these methods for achieving pregnancy, even if a couple may be dealing with infertility. In addition, FAMBs and their effectiveness rates for preventing pregnancy are also discussed.

Both webinars run 60 minutes in length and are approved for 1.00 CME credit by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The Female Cycle as the 5th Vital Sign

The Female Cycle as the 5th Vital Sign highlights the health of the female cycle and how charting with a fertility awareness-based method (FABM) can potentially aid in the diagnosis and management of common women’s health concerns.

The webinar runs 90 minutes in length and is approved for 1.50 CME credit by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
